Zephyr’s 30 Year Anniversary Video
Proposal prepared by Studio Carrasco
INTRODUCTION
Concept
After an initial chat with Sidd about this project, I’ve put together a brief conceptual outline.
A more detailed storyboard will be created in the pre-production process in collaboration with your marketing team.
The overall feeling of the video is bringing forward a sense of nostalgia for brands you love and the people you care about in your life.
The tone and color of the video will be warm and inviting with a focus on the happiness of the main character.
We get to experience his joy during important milestones of his life when he’s spending time with family and friends all while wearing his Zephyr hat.
STORY
-
Scene 1
Video opens with a young pre-teen boy in his room after just opening a birthday gift. He pulls the hat out of the box with pure joy on his face when he sees it’s a Zephyr hat with his favorite team. There will be another 2-3 shots here with him putting the hat on and checking it out in a mirror and giving his parents a grateful hug.
-
Scene 2
We see a teenage boy playing catch with his dad in their backyard. He’s still wearing the hat (now a little more worn/faded). He’s having a great time bonding with his father and really enjoying the time playing catch.
-
Scene 3
We see a young college aged man at a sporting event, wearing the same hat (now just a little more worn/faded) enjoying his time with friends. You feel the excitement he has surrounded by other fans and cheering for his team.
-
Scene 4
We now see him as a young adult, driving his car wearing his Z hat - a view from the backseat. The camera pans over and we see a woman in the passenger seat. He reaches his arm over put it around her shoulder. It’s a new romance and both are beaming.
-
Scene 5
We see a couple getting ready to head out the door and they both are wearing matching team colors . It looks like they are about to head out to a sporting event together. As the couple opens the the front door, the father calls out for their son and as the child hurries outside with them, the father leans down and hands him his first Zephyr hat with the same team. The boy is full of joy and we end with them heading out together to the game.
-
Logo Roll
Zephyr’s logo animation comes in with 30 year anniversary tagline.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
There are a lot of pieces involved in developing a compelling video. Our experience has taught us how to be flexible and creative with consideration for your budget and expectations.
Pre-production
Laying the right groundwork is essential to developing a great video. Pre-production is where we figure out the best game plan for your business. We work together on the video concept, the look/feel and style, we write the script, cast the actors, decide on location and set design, and lock down all the other details involved with how the actual video is going to look, sound, and perform.
Production
We're rolling! Now that we have the road map developed in the pre-production stage, it’s time to put it all together in front of the cameras. This is where our crew does what they do best: film a great video.
Post Production
Our editorial post-production team steps in to shape your story, handle color-correction, record any voice overs, clean up the audio, add music, create graphics and in general make sure your video looks exactly like we planned in pre-production. It's at this stage that you’ll see the first cut.
Final Revisions
Once you've seen the first cut, you’ll have a chance to share your thoughts with us. There is one round of revisions allowed at this stage, within reasonable parameters and within the scope of the original video concept.
Output
With the final cut complete and your approval signed-off, we create high quality files of your video that can be used for a variety of formats, be it for the web, trade shows or broadcast television.
TIME FRAME
To complete the work outlined in the project scope, we'll need approximately 4 to 6 weeks from beginning to end, depending on when we receive feedback at each milestone. Upon signing the proposal we are prepared to start work immediately, however, I believe a good start date for principal photography would be mid July.
